Description:

American Senior Communities is now hiring a Senior Benefits/LOA Administrator

The Senior Benefits Manager coordinates and administers leave of absence processes, ADA processes and Worker’s Compensation proxy processes. Assists with various employee benefit plans including life, health, dental, vision, disability insurances, and 401(k) plans.

  • Serves as the main point of contact for vendor relationships as it relates to leave of absence.
  • Serves as the Leave of Absence (LOA) coordinator for ASC employees, facilities, leadership, and business partners.
  • Manages premium payments and arrears for employees on leave, on a leave accommodation and Worker’s Compensation (WC)
  • Audits Worker’s Compensation reports and ensures LOA is proxied to run concurrently with WC.
  • Monitors and maintains the LOA shared email box.
  • Assists with ADA/Accommodation administration when needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with absence management and disability program and Workers’ Compensation vendor partners. Resolve issues successfully.
  • Handles benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution. Maintains contact in person, and by phone or mail, with hospitals, physicians, insurance companies, employees, and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employe

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and one to three years’ experience in Benefits and/or leave/ADA Administration
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in Benefits and/or LOA/ADA Administration may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
