Description:

RAI Specialist - RN at American Senior Communities

This position requires extensive travel supporting our buildings in Northern Indiana, including South Bend/Elkhart area.

Become a Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) Specialist - RN at American Senior Communities, and start making a difference in the lives of seniors today!

Responsibilities include:

  • Audits facility records for Minimum Data Set (MDS) accuracy, timeliness, and completion.
  • Has the ability to assess resident, if needed.
  • Educates and trains new and current MDS Coordinators.
  • Professionally communicates findings from each facility visit, audit, or review with the Executive Director and other leaders as directed by the VP of Clinical Reimbursement.
  • Assists with MDS Coordinator responsibilities as needed and directed by VP of Clinical Reimbursement.
  • Attends MDS workshops to maintain current standards of practice and knowledge of regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  • Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • A minimum of five (5) years in a related field.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (including some overnights) supporting our buildings in the South Bend/Elkhart area.
