Summary Responsible for performing a variety of financial, accounting and investment matters for the Bank. Strong attention to due dates a must. Work with the CFO to execute the Banks mission and strategic planSupervise Financial Operations departmentRecruit, train and coach Financial Operations staff. Hold the staff accountable for goal achievement, bank success and compliance. This includes overseeing departments provide appropriate and relevant reports to monitor objective achievementPrepare monthly financial statements and reportsInterpret operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the BankEnsure the correct and accurate accounting classification of all income and expendituresMaintain company accounts; assign new account classifications as required and/or necessaryPrepare monthly and quarterly reports for regulatory agenciesProvide advice and counsel to management regarding the Banks major financial objectives and management fiscal policiesKeep current on accounting and regulatory rulesSupport CFO in cost control measures and profit improvementsAssist CFO in finance and accounting related special projectsGather data, prepare reports and/or work papers needed for audits, regulatory examinations and various reporting requirementsRecord security transactions and maintain security portfolio files.Oversee accounts payable process, trust department accounting and overdraft program performanceMaintain shareholder records and prepare dividendsRecord and balance account and trust transactionsAssist Trust Officer in trust department accounting, reporting and monitoring accountsManage accruals, prepaids and fixed assetsServe on Risk committee and other committees as necessary or warrantedMaintain a community presenceSet a positive tone and example as a professional leader of Alliance Bank.Actively use the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to align business goals, drive accountability, and ensure effective communication across teams. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Work Environment & Physical Demands This position travels by vehicle in the Alliance Bank footprint and surrounding areas. This job operates in a clerical office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment. This position requires manual dexterity and the ability to lift, bend, or stand as necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Full-time employee must work 38-40 hours per week average to maintain full-time status.
