Job Description Summary

The VP, Senior Manager – IT Finance & Accounting is a trusted advisor to the CIO and technology leadership team to provide strategic financial guidance, support decision-making through data-driven analyses, and drive financial planning and analysis processes. Key responsibilities include advancing cost management activities, implementing efficiencies in the budgeting and forecasting cycles, streamlining monthly reporting cycles and automation of processes and reporting.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of IT-related financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and internal policies

  • Own the month-end and year-end close processes for IT cost centers, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany allocations

  • Lead internal financial reviews, support audit processes, and ensure SOX (if applicable) and internal control compliance related to IT finance

  • Develop comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and monthly forecasts for the technology organization, aligning with the company’s strategic goals and performance targets

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and deliver system-based, automated reporting that provides actionable insights into the technology organization’s performance

  • Collaborate with team members and business leaders to prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages that drive business decisions

  • Partner with technology and other areas within Finance to develop and implementation of internal cost allocation methodologies and reporting.

Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred)

  • 8-12 years of progressive financial experience, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.

  • Strong knowledge of technology sector finance dynamics along with a deep understanding of financial planning, budget management, and strategic analysis

  • Proven ability to serve as a strong internal business partner with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Experience supporting senior management with strategic financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with tools like Workiva, Power BI, Workday, and Adaptive Planning is a plus.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $145, 000- $175, 000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
