Position Overview
The Enterprise Data Architect is a key leadership position within the Data Management team reporting directly to the Chief Data Officer. This role will be responsible for a team of subject-area data architects, ensuring we are applying sound architectural frameworks, standards, policies, and practices relating to data solution design & implementation. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of establishing strategy around data architecture and managing a roadmap for implementation.
What You’ll Do
Define & maintain the enterprise data architecture strategy aligned with business objectives
Establish data architecture principles, policies, standards, and frameworks
Design and oversee the data architecture strategy for the organization, capturing current state data architecture and definition of target state along with roadmap for implementation
Collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization including Data Governance, Information Security, Business leadership, and Technology Architecture teams.
Represents data architecture and participates in Technology Architecture groups for the enterprise ensuring best-in-class implementations with an eye towards simplification and re-use.
Provide technical oversight to Data Solution Architects in designing solutions that adhere to enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
Evaluate and recommend data management technologies and tools
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years’ experience or Master’s degree with 8+ years’ experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or other quantitative field.
Has 7+ years’ experience in an architect role working on multiple, complex deployments
Experience managing multiple projects and mentoring team members.
Should have worked with enterprise architects, data engineers, database administrators, business analysts to determine project requirements and capabilities, and strategized development and implementation timelines
Experience in developing standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $169, 000.00- $240, 000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
