Position Overview
Reporting to the SVP, Identity Access Management Director, the Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineering Manager leads the development, implementation, and operations of enterprise IAM capabilities within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role is responsible for ensuring secure, compliant and resilient identity services that protect data, financial systems, and critical infrastructure.
The IAM Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers, partner closely with information security, architecture, risk management, audit, and technology teams, and ensure IAM controls align with regulatory requirements and internal risk management standards.
What You’ll Do
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IAM engineers in a highly regulated environment
Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions across on-premises and cloud environments
Own identity lifecycle management for employees, contractors, vendors, service accounts, and applications while also leading implementation of and managing authentication, authorization, and federation services (SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML) for workforce members and Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM)
Enforce least privilege access and segregation of duties (SOD) controls
Support regulatory and internal audits, partner with Risk and Compliance teams to meet financial industry regulations and standards
Work closely with application owners, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and security team to integrate IAM controls
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and advisor to senior leadership on identity-related risk and controls
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity, or information security in the financial services industry with 3 years of leading technical engineering teams
Strong technical leadership and decision making skills
Strong understanding of IAM concepts: authentication, authorization, federation, RBAC/ABAC, MFA, PAM
Hands-on experience with enterprise IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Delinea, SailPoint)
Experience integrating IAM with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $170, 000.00 - $200, 000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
