Position Overview
The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the Adobe Campaign Classic marketing automation platform and for creating marketing automation campaigns, executing email sends, creating and maintaining data queries and technical workflows, and supporting the continued enhancement of the platform. They will also support and implement change and configuration management to deploy marketing campaigns to production environments, including testing and defect management relating to new product implementations, development releases, upgrades, patches, and other system maintenance as required. This role involves end-to-end campaign execution, workflow development, data integration and system customization to enable targeted and personalized marketing communications. Application Specialists will closely work with corporate marketing, business analysts, data teams, solution architects, various vendors and third-party consultants and implementers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with best practices and platform capabilities. They must understand Adobe Campaign Classic’s interdependencies with other applications and infrastructure both internally and outside the corporate network.
Ongoing knowledge of current and changing business and technological environments, best practices, trends, and strategy is important to success. This position will also support/lead acquisition and conversion activities related to their business domains.
What You’ll Do
Support Corporate Marketing and Marketing areas across other lines of business through the creation and deployment of multichannel marketing automation campaigns, ad hoc emails, tracking of delivery metrics, enhancement of Adobe Campaign Classic capabilities, and monitoring of daily operational processes related to the application.
Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Software Engineers, and Data Management to ensure that the Adobe Campaign Classic workflows and automations are working properly, data tables are in good health, and integrations are functioning as intended.
Work closely with IT business partners, Program Managers, Business Analysts, and Content Authors to act as the subject matter expert for the Adobe Campaign Classic platform, making informed decisions based on best practices, and provide efficient solutions to meet the business need.
Support the enterprise change management and software development lifecycle (SDLC) process including providing testing, defect management, peer review, and release management ensuring appropriate segregation of duties
Write and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, process maps, test scripts, use cases, user stories, root cause analysis, and high-level integration and data flows
Participate on cross-functional teams to support and define business and technical requirements, operational processes, application strategy and project/product implementation.
Author complex system reports and data integration/migration templates
Qualifications
Subject matter expert in the Adobe Campaign Classic platform and knowledge of the Adobe Experience Cloud suite of tools
2-4 years of relevant experience with an emphasis on marketing automation, creation of complex multichannel marketing automation campaigns, digital marketing best practices, marketing strategy, campaign testing, application and data maintenance, configuration, and support
Proficient in developing custom schemas, JavaScript, XML, SQL queries & data imports/exports. Familiarity with APIS, SOAP/REST integrations and ETL processes.
Understanding of relational databases and data modeling (Adobe Campaign schema customization).
Support campaign execution including data preparation, audience segmentation, testing and deployment.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $59, 000.00 - $77, 000.00 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
