Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor a portfolio of commercial credit relationships within the insurance brokerage industry
  • Analyze and underwrite business and personal financial data to support credit decisions
  • Prepare credit requests, including new originations, renewals, modifications, and waivers
  • Ensure compliance with Wintrust Credit Policy, risk ratings, and financial reporting requirements
  • Track and test financial covenants and reporting obligations for assigned clients
  • Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers on loan closings and client interactions
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients, maintaining a high level of responsiveness
  • Coordinate with internal credit, legal, and operations teams to facilitate timely and accurate execution of credit actions
  • Participate in credit-related training, including Wintrust Credit Academy courses

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–3 years of experience in commercial credit, financial analysis, or accounting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with business and personal financial statements and tax returns
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $59, 000 - $77, 000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
