The Business Development Officer is responsible for acquisition, retention and expansion of new and existing deposit, loan, and merchant business relationships. This position provides exceptional customer service by taking ownership of the customer experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Develops new business and consumer relationships – actively participates in external community activities as required in order to promote bank and develop a business referral network.

  • Provides a superior level of customer relations and service, ensuring client satisfaction by responding promptly to customer inquiries and requests

  • Cross-sell products and services aligning with customer needs including deposit, loan and retirement products. Participate in networking events and initiate outbound calling efforts to drive branch sales

  • Generates qualified referrals to other bank departments, including consumer business

  • Maintain team member relationships within the branch

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in retail or business banking setting with demonstrated business development or sales management responsibilities

  • Business Development experience required

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills required

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $71, 000 - $92, 000. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
