What you’ll do:

Advanced Middleware Developer is a key position within the Data Management team, responsible for the development, test and implementation of best coding practices in complex Integration solutions for the organization, including application connectivity, Performance, Security and audit. This role will be engaged in all phases of the API lifecycle and follows all the best practices that were put in place. Successful candidate will have a proven track record demonstrating sound technical and business knowledge.

  • Design, development and continuous improvement of complex and critical data projects.

  • Design and develop data ingestion frameworks, leveraging open source tools and data processing frameworks.

  • Enhance data solutions that enables seamless integration and flow of data across the data ecosystem.

  • Participates in and supports initiatives outside of main area of responsibility.

  • Support/enhance/create data solutions to ensure business continuity, ensuring all related processes meets best-in-class standards offering high performance.

  • Support and maintain existing integration solutions for Middleware systems for operational and analytical applications.

  • Required to work in other areas of Data Enablement lifecycle as needed.

  • Work on the API specification documentation.

  • Ensure DevOps practices are implemented for all data solutions.

  • Participate in all types of testing and triages.

  • Required to work in other areas of Data Enablement lifecycle, including batch and real time processes using SQL Server, SSIS ETL/ETL, MuleSoft as needed.

  • Onboard the new team members to the projects from both technical and business standpoint.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or other quantitative field.

  • 3+ years’ experience in Application or API development - designing, implementing data persistence, data processing, data integration and MDM Solutions.

  • Experience in designing and building complete information flow moving and transforming data for ODS, Staging, Data Warehousing and Data Marts, MDM, including Middleware Integrations.

  • Experience with implementing audit, balance and control mechanism in data solutions.

  • Strong understanding of Middleware concepts for modern integration infrastructures such as API management and ESB, and MDM Concepts.

  • Has in-depth understanding of development best practices.

  • Has mastered the tools needed to debug and diagnose issues in any type of environment.

  • Has Subject Matter expertise in multiple components and good understanding of all components.

  • Strong analytical skills related to middleware products.

  • Perform peer reviews and take ownership of the application or API development and identify any potential defects.

  • Experience working on a CI/CD pipeline is a plus.

  • Experience with source control repository system such as TFS or GIT is preferred.

  • Efficiently work in Agile environment. Familiarity with tracking tools such as JIRA is a plus.

  • Experience working on Banking and Financial domain is preferred.

  • Passionate about learning new technologies and solving hard problems in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to work within a team environment and interacting with data professionals and business data SME’s throughout the organization

  • Desire to work in a fast-growing environment with strong time management ability

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be self-directed and have excellent initiative and organization skills.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $85, 000-$110, 000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
