A Brief Overview

The Safety and Systems Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of Voyant Beauty's enterprise Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management systems and safety programs across all global sites. This role serves as the subject matter expert for EHS management systems, software platforms, data integrity, and standardized safety processes, ensuring consistent application of safety standards, regulatory compliance, incident management, and performance measurement across the organization. This is a remote position requiring cross-functional collaboration, systems thinking, and the ability to drive standardization while supporting site-level execution.

What you will do

  • Lead the development, administration, and continuous improvement of EHS management systems and software platforms (e.g., AIC, Brady, MSDS Online, and other EHS tools). Serve as system owner for EHS applications, including configuration, user access, data integrity, reporting, and system enhancements. Partner with IT, EHS leadership, and site teams to integrate EHS systems with enterprise reporting and business processes. Develop standardized workflows, templates, and system guidance to ensure consistent use across all sites.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized EHS programs and procedures, including but not limited to incident management, compliance tracking, risk assessment, corrective action management, and performance measurement. Establish enterprise EHS management system standards and frameworks while allowing flexibility for site-specific operational needs. Support rollout of new or updated safety programs, tools, and initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations. Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal policies.
  • Oversee enterprise incident reporting and investigation processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent data capture. Monitor compliance metrics, risk assessments, corrective actions, and leading/lagging safety indicators. Analyze EHS data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting through accurate system documentation and reporting.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to site EHS teams and leaders on EHS systems, processes, and reporting expectations. Develop user guides, job aids, and system training materials to drive adoption and consistency. Act as a key liaison between corporate EHS leadership and site teams to ensure alignment and clarity. Communicate system updates, process changes, and performance insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support corporate EHS initiatives and projects as assigned.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams focused on safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on EHS technology trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (Required)


Experience Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in EHS program management, systems administration, or safety leadership within a manufacturing or industrial environment. (Required)
  • 4-6 years demonstrated experience managing EHS software platforms and enterprise safety management systems. (Preferred)
  • 4-6 years supporting multi-site operations (Required)


Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management systems, including incident management, compliance tracking, risk management, corrective action management, and performance measurement (High proficiency)
  • Experience administering EHS software platforms (e.g., AIC, Brady, MSDS Online, or similar systems) (High proficiency)
  • Knowledge of safety best practices and applicable federal, state, and local EHS requirements (High proficiency)
  • Ability to analyze EHS data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights (High proficiency)
  • Skill in developing standardized EHS programs, procedures, and workflows (High proficiency)
  • Project management and organizational skills (High proficiency)
  • Ability to communicate complex EHS and system concepts clearly to diverse audiences (High proficiency)
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a remote, multi-site environment (High proficiency)
  • Ability to train, coach, and support users on EHS systems and processes (High proficiency)
  • Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset (High proficiency)


Licenses and Certifications

  • CSP, ASP, or other relevant safety certifications (Preferred)
