Voyant Beauty is hiring a Manager, Infrastructure in Hodgkins, IL. This is a full-time position, and paying $150,000.00–$165,000.00/year.

A Brief Overview
The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement of facility infrastructure across Voyant Beauty's manufacturing network. This role serves as the enterprise leader for facility health, infrastructure governance, utility management, capital planning, and regulatory compliance, ensuring facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with corporate standards. The Infrastructure Manager develops and executes long-term infrastructure strategies, conducts facility assessments, identifies operational risks, manages infrastructure-related compliance programs, and establishes capital investment roadmaps that support business continuity, sustainability, and operational excellence. This position partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, and Finance teams to improve facility reliability while reducing operational risk and deferred maintenance exposure.
What you will do
- Provide enterprise oversight of facility infrastructure systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, boilers, steam systems, compressed air, water and wastewater systems, roofing, fire protection, life safety systems, and general building infrastructure.
- Lead facility health audits, infrastructure assessments, and gap analyses to identify reliability risks, compliance concerns, deferred maintenance issues, and operational vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain multi-year infrastructure capital improvement roadmaps, prioritizing investments based on asset condition, business risk, compliance requirements, capacity constraints, and operational needs.
- Manage facility infrastructure compliance programs, including permitting, insurance requirements, regulatory obligations, inspections, and audit readiness activities.
- Lead utility optimization and energy management initiatives focused on reducing operating costs, improving efficiency, and supporting sustainability objectives.
- Establish and monitor infrastructure performance KPIs, facility health metrics, reliability indicators, and reporting structures to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with site leadership, Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, EHS, Quality, and Finance teams to align infrastructure priorities with business objectives.
- Support facility expansions, renovations, modernization projects, and capital project execution across the manufacturing network.
- Manage external engineering firms, contractors, consultants, utility providers, and other infrastructure-related service partners.
- Develop and maintain enterprise infrastructure standards, best practices, and governance processes.
- Support root cause investigations associated with infrastructure failures, utility disruptions, and facility reliability issues.
- Drive preventive maintenance and reliability improvement programs related to facility infrastructure assets.
- Support insurance audits, risk assessments, and corrective action implementation.
- Evaluate sustainability opportunities including energy reduction, water conservation, utility optimization, and facility modernization initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level facility assessments, infrastructure reports, and capital planning recommendations.
- Participate in strategic business initiatives and long-range facility planning efforts.
- Ability to walk manufacturing facilities, utility rooms, rooftops, and construction areas.
- Ability to inspect infrastructure systems, climb stairs, and access elevated platforms when required.
- Frequent use of computers and standard office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Remote or plant-based position supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.
- Frequent interaction with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, and Finance teams.
- Occasional off-hours support during emergency infrastructure failures, utility outages, or critical project activities.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or related technical discipline (Required)
Experience Qualifications
- 7-9 years of progressive experience in facilities management, infrastructure engineering, utilities management, maintenance, or industrial operations. (Required)
- 7-9 years conducting facility audits, infrastructure assessments, asset evaluations, and capital planning activities. (Required)
- 7-9 years managing facility regulatory compliance programs, permitting processes, and audit requirements. (Required)
- 7-9 years understanding of industrial utilities, building systems, infrastructure reliability, and facility operations. (Required)
- 7-9 years developing capital plans, budgets, ROI analyses, and asset lifecycle strategies. (Required)
- 7-9 years multi-site manufacturing or corporate engineering leadership experience (Preferred)
- 7-9 years in regulated manufacturing environments including personal care, cosmetics, OTC, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, or consumer products. (Preferred)
- 7-9 years with CMMS, facility management systems, and energy management platforms. (Preferred)
