Vitalant is currently seeking a full-time Account Growth Manager to support our Donor Recruitment team. This teammate is responsible for achieving assigned annual and monthly blood drive booking targets by managing existing accounts, pursuing leads and determined the viability of new blood drive opportunities.

The Account Growth Manager will collaborate closely with Donor Recruitment, Planning & Scheduling, and operational leadership to ensure productive blood drives are secured and successfully executed to meet established collection goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Secure and schedule productive blood drives that meet predetermined booking goals
  • Manage outreach to existing, warm, and cold accounts to develop new donor resources
  • Engage and motivate blood drive coordinators to ensure successful execution
  • Reactivate lapsed accounts by effectively communicating blood drive benefits
  • Maintain accurate account information and track all outreach activity in designated systems
  • Collaborate with Planning & Scheduling to optimize the blood drive production calendar
  • Support booking efforts during critical periods and high-need seasons
  • Identify regions requiring additional booking support and provide targeted account strategies
  • Ensure smooth internal and external handoff from scheduled blood drive to execution
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Follow established sales and recruitment processes while ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations
What to Expect

Schedule: Primarily days, with flexibility required, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Travel: Local travel required; must provide own vehicle.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Valid in-state driver's license required
  • Three years of related experience required
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Demonstrated successful sales skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated, results-driven mindset
