About the role:

At Vantage, the Oracle EPM Technical Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining the existing applications and support the implementation of the remaining modules within the Oracle EPM space as well as managing and sometimes performing activities for continued upgrades and enhancements to the applications. Candidates should have a successful record of accomplishment working with Oracle Financial Applications in a technical capacity, especially focusing on EDMCS, EPBCS, ARCS and FCCS. Candidates must be detail-oriented, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, have deep technical knowledge in the Oracle EPM suite of applications, accounting knowledge, and a plus would be understanding of Specialty P& C (Re)Insurance. The EPM Technical Analyst will work closely with the accounting and FP& A teams and a global user community.

The financial systems team currently supports the Oracle EPM applications including PBCS, ARCS, Narrative Reporting, EDMCS, and FCCS as well as the Oracle Cloud ERP applications. The team works closely with our Finance business partners to grow our capabilities within these applications.

The focus of the EPM Technical Analyst will be to support the current eco-system of Oracle Cloud EPM applications and play a key role on the technical implementation / enhancements of the EPM applications. The ideal candidate must have prior EPM implementation experience and a vision to scope and build the applications for future enhancements and growth. The EPM Technical Analyst will also be involved in cross system support and testing initiatives as well as supporting reporting processes and system improvements at Vantage. The role will also support integrations between various Oracle applications as well as other corporate applications. Strong experience of EPM Automate, Data Integration, and the Integration Agent is highly desired to further support automation of the EPM ecosystem.

The base salary expectation for this role is between $110, 000 and $130, 000. Actual base salary for the selected candidate may be higher commensurate with candidate experience and expectations. Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical workstreams for significant long-term projects.
  • Serve as technical point of contact for the project and provide weekly progress reports to the IT management and leadership team, Finance stakeholders and the IT Project Manager.
  • Coordinate jointly with Finance and cross-functional team members to resolve complex issues relating to data integrations and quality of reporting.
  • Manage all data integrations and metadata for all applications using EDMCS during the implementation and support on an ongoing basis.
  • Build reporting in EPBCS and FCCS and support SmartView end user reporting.
  • Support the Oracle EPM application implementations and transforming business requirements to provide technical solutions to streamline Finance close related activities.
  • Build and create the security administration of the EPM suite of applications.
  • Strong experience in understanding the functionality in the EPM application suites including how to build artifacts and data models to support the finance users.
  • Support and build ARCS profiles for reconciliations and EPBCS models, forms, and calculations.
  • Document and provide training and knowledge transfer of implemented processes and procedures to Vantage Risk IT staff during and after implementation for better auditability of systems going forward.
  • Other as-needed related project technical tasks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of related experience in Oracle EPM in a technical function as well as software development & architecture design, including project management and business analysis.
  • Minimum three years of experience with Oracle EPBCS, ARCS, EDMCS, and/or FCCS – working closely with and supporting the business from a technical standpoint is a plus.
  • System administration, support, and implementation experience with the Oracle EPM Cloud suite.
  • Minimum three years of Data Conversion processes inbound and outbound interfaces – integration using Data Integration, Pipelines, Oracle Integration Agent, GROOVY, EPM Automate and/or REST API highly desired.
  • Experience with Financial Reporting Studio and Narrative Reporting in EPM.
  • Intellectual curiosity to find unique solutions to integration challenges.
  • Ability to gather requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, implementation teams, and other ancillary project members.
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, security, authentication, backup, and recovery.
  • Experience leading full life cycle Oracle EPM Cloud technical implementations for large complex client delivery.
  • Experience in Oracle SQL, Groovy, EPM Automate, REST API, PowerShell, bat scripting, Forms, Reports, JDeveloper, Java.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience with creating complex technical documentation and providing knowledge transfer.
  • Sharp problem-solving, analytical, and innovation skills.
  • Basic project management skills to coordinate project implementation task timelines & schedules.
  • Experience working across various IT and business teams to prioritize, design, implement and support business driven functionality.
  • Experience in Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials, Project Financial Management, Procurement) and experience in reporting (BI, OTBI, FRS, Smart View, Essbase) is a plus.
  • Experience in Specialty P& C (Re)Insurance is a plus.
