JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain inventory through the use of Smartsheet and/or Excel and make entries into chassis database into JDE.
• Work with Traffic department daily to schedule truck movement (internal and external).
• Work with the Chassis Inspector to receive chassis into inventory after the chassis “check in” process has been completed.
• Keep chassis lot orderly and all chassis’ accounted for by assigning chassis locations to the chassis inventory database and organizing the lot accordingly.
• Receiving/approving purchase orders from chassis suppliers after completing modifications.
• Exercise chassis’ on a scheduled basis and document actions in chassis database.
• Work with Engineering to wash and stage chassis in the chassis bays as needed.
• Coordinate with the Traffic department to properly stage finished goods for shipment.
• May be assigned to local deliveries of chassis movement to and/or from a customer.
• May be assigned to make deliveries of finished units to and/or from a customer.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• CDL is required. Any applicant without a CDL must be able to obtain a CDL within 3 months.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Smartsheet, and JDE preferred.
• Must be able to create and manage a database from concept to implementation including creating reports of inventory.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments is required.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to work in all-weather elements.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma required.

Salary Range - $28-33/hour
