Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Print Operations: Print and prepare parts manuals and other documents according to specifications. Ensure high-quality output and adherence to deadlines.
  • Decal Production: Design, create, and print in-house decals and labels as needed. Ensure that decals are produced with accuracy and meet the required specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on printers and related equipment. Work with Impact to address and resolve any technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage print supplies inventory, including paper, ink, and toner. Reorder supplies as needed to avoid interruptions in workflow.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure accuracy and consistency. Make necessary adjustments to optimize print quality.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks: Assist with other print-related tasks as needed, including special projects, document binding, and finishing.
  • Other:
    1. Performs other duties as assigned by Technical Information Manager.
    2. Participates in a minimum of 16 hours of self development training per year.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Familiarity with various types of printing equipment and technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge and use of the following PC applications including: Adobe Creative Suite to include In Design, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Proven experience as a Print Technician or similar role.
  • Other education and experience in service, engineering, or maintenance related fields may be considered in place of the above requirements.
  • Ability to operate various office equipment including but not limited to computer, video, and digital camera.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.

Salary Range - $25-30/hr
