We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our leadership team in Paris, IL. This individual will be responsible for leading our maintenance and engineering functions, driving cost-savings initiatives, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across the plant.
Your Impact - Drive and track annual cost-savings projects across manufacturing operations.
- Schedule and oversee all preventative maintenance projects.
- Define and monitor machining uptime targets, ensuring performance goals are met.
- Negotiate with suppliers for parts and service agreements.
- Create, manage, and track Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs).
- Track and communicate accruals for equipment repairs to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers for urgent breakdown support.
- Provide direct support to plant operations for equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
- Lead and manage the maintenance department and manufacturing engineering team.
- Support and implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with product development teams on New Product Implementation (NPI) to ensure smooth integration into manufacturing processes.
Your Experience and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in reliability engineering, Lean manufacturing, team management, and industrial technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
