Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Department: A11

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CNC Machine Operator to operate, set up, and maintain our computer numerical control machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup & Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) for various tasks like drilling, cutting, grinding, and milling.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to understand specifications and dimensions.
  • Quality Control: Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) for in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Monitoring & Adjustments: Monitor machine operations, make necessary adjustments to feed, speed, and tooling, and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Material Handling: Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper handling.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and assist with equipment upkeep.
  • Documentation: Complete production logs, quality reports, and other necessary documentation.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to all safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:
  • Experience : Previous experience operating CNC machinery is preferred (specify level: entry, experienced).
  • Skills: Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools, understand G-code (basic), and perform basic math.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
