Job Description

SwedishAmerican Hospital is hiring a Speech Pathologist I (Outpt) in Rockford, IL. This is a full-time position.

Work Schedule:

90% FTE, Monday-Friday varying schedule. You will work at UW Health 9th St Clinic 209 9th St.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Overtime

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Required
  • Participates in educational programs on an ongoing basis and completes mandatory CEUs as required. Required


Work Experience

  • No minimum experience required.


Licenses & Certifications

  • Current license from the State of Illinois. An applicant for employment as a physical, occupational, or speech therapists must present acceptable evidence of licensure. A new employee will not be allowed to work as a therapist or assistant until evidence of licensure eligibility is provided. Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
  • Has certificate of clinical competence through the American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligible to complete Clinical Fellowship year with proper supervision. Required
