Qualifications - Completion of sleep disorder testing training program. Required
- High School Diploma Required
- Associate degree in healthcare or related field. Preferred
Work Experience - Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting. Required
- One (1) year of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting. Required
- Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting. Preferred
- Two (2) years of experience in performing neurodiagnostic procedures. Preferred
- Two (2) years of experience in performing all direct care duties as a sleep technician. Preferred
- Experience with sleep lab and titration policies and procedures. Required
- Experience developing schedules, work assignments, work rules, and policies. Required
Licenses & Certifications - Registered Sleep Technician or Registered Respiratory Therapist. Preferred
- CMS recognized certification as a Registered Sleep Technician or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) must be obtained within two years from date of hire. Required
- CPR Certification. Required
- R. EEG. T. credential. Preferred
