Job Description

SwedishAmerican Hospital is hiring a Laboratory Supervisor (Chemistry/Hematology) in Rockford, IL. This is a full-time position.

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday-Friday, 7: 00am-3: 30pm, you will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Overtime

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college/university. Required
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required


Work Experience

  • Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools Required


Licenses & Certifications

  • MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification. Required
  • ASCP categorical certification for the department of responsibility or current MLT certification with MLS certification within 6 months is acceptable. Four years of experience after certification required. Certification must be maintained by submitting appropriate continuing education documentation to certifying agency. Required
