Description:

The Pharmaceutical Segment Leader will support the commercial success of our medical businesses with a focus on driving revenue growth in the Pharma market. Key responsibilities include on-going development and execution of value proposition, marketing and commercialization plans to include operational capabilities within focused segments of PFS (Prefilled Syringes); Drug/API, Pharma Packaging and Bio-processing. This position will have no direct reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish and manage to global TAM and SAM of targeted sub-segments within the pharmaceutical segment in order to focus the commercial team activities. including specific applications and companies, to drive growth
  • Support development and execution of annual global growth strategy (revenue targets, growth rates, marketing plans and key marketing initiatives to help drive revenue for the business)
  • Partner with Senior Director Corporate Strategy, Pharma Business to mine voice of customer (VOC) & gather market insights and leverage market research, competitive intelligence to develop and advance strategy and messaging around benefits of terminal sterilization
  • Support the identification of critical operational capabilities, licenses and certifications needed to support the pharmaceutical requirements (ex. GMP, cold chain management, etc.) Serve as the pharmaceutical industry subject matter expert to support cross functional decision making and broad-based business strategy
  • Lead and oversee the development and execution of Pharma sales training to include communications to ensure the sales organization is properly trained for customer engagements and equipped to execute programs, including the use of marketing materials
  • Work with Marketing Manager to create and maintain effective marketing content, traditional /digital collateral, advertising campaigns and sales tools
  • Manage resources, timelines and budgets associated with projects in areas of responsibility
  • Represent Sterigenics at external, customer facing events to further understanding of VOC, market insights and trends to ensure our strategies are appropriately aligned with targeted opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional working relationships within Sterigenics and across Sotera Health and sister BUs, Nordion and Nelson Labs to accelerate revenue and combined cross-business value propositions and solutions.
  • Identify and grow relationships with appropriate industry associations, special interest groups and thought leaders/influencers
  • Maintain a working knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements associated with terminal sterilization
  • Provide prompt response and support to sales organization


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or engineering
  • Relevant product management, marketing, engineering, operations or sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated experience with business case development (market research, data analytics, etc. in support of launching a new program, business initiative, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the pharmaceutical manufacturers' supply chain across the product lifecycle
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency for executing strategic plans and achieving product revenue goals
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Demonstrated creative, innovative thinker with program/lead gen design and execution experience
  • Proficient at managing multiple projects with tight and often competing deadlines
  • Digital and media management experience (social media, editorial calendars, eblasts)
  • Global experience a plus
  • Attested project leadership and critical thinking skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work remotely or in an office setting
  • Experience or exposure to using non-sales channel marketing, including the use of seminars, webinars, key opinion leaders, peer to peer education programs a plus

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to travel (domestic and international) up to 30% of the time

Pay & Benefits

Salary Range: 100, 500 to 173, 500 per year; depending on experience.
