HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) GENERALIST About Link 1 IT Solutions Link 1 IT Solutions is a private equity-backed IT managed services platform built through acquisition, currently operating with two business units and expected growth. The platform serves clients from SMB through mid-enterprise across remote MSP, on-site, and professional services delivery models. Link 1 is building an integrated platform with core back-office operations while enabling each acquired partner to maintain its local brand and team identity. Prescient Solutions is a Link 1 IT business unit. Position Summary The Human Resources (HR) Generalist provides day-to-day HR operational support across Link 1 IT Solutions and its business units. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this remote individual-contributor role supports employees and managers through: HR administration; employee records; HRIS transactions; Onboarding and offboarding; Benefits and leave coordination; Compliance tracking; Recruiting administration; andRecurring HR processes. *** Applicant must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. *** Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for routine employee and manager questions; provide approved information, track requests, and escalate exceptions or sensitive matters.Maintain accurate HRIS data and employee files; process lifecycle changes and conduct periodic records audits.Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, performance-management workflows, benefits, leave, accommodations, PTO, employment verifications, and payroll-related changes.Support employee relations by documenting concerns, organizing records, and assisting managers with approved performance documentation.Administer recurring compliance activities, including I-9s, notices, labor posters, training, record retention, policy acknowledgments, and audit follow-up.Provide recruiting, learning, acquisition-integration, engagement, retention, reporting, and cross-business-unit project support.Create clear templates, checklists, procedures, communications, manager guides, trackers, and self-service resources.Use Microsoft 365, approved AI tools, automation, and HR technology responsibly to improve accuracy, consistency, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
