Job Description

ORBIS Corporation is hiring a Supervisor, Warehouse in Normal, IL. This is a full-time position.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide and maintain a safe working environment for all employees, including auditing, addressing unsafe behaviors and conditions, timely reporting safety incidents, enforcing safety-related policies and procedures, and conducting any needed training.

2. Help coordinate outbound shipments.

3. Ensure deliveries are scheduled and completed based on available and anticipated inventory and order promise dates.

4. Address and communicate quality issues to internal team and external customers.

5. Ensure raw materials are received and accurately placed into inventory.

6. Ensure warehouse and materials are well-organized.

7. Confer with plant personnel and other departments to review activities and operating reports to determine changes in schedules.

8. Maintain a high degree of plant floor visibility throughout the shift.

9. Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities.

10. Conduct annual performance reviews.

11. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Desired: Associate's Degree

Work Experience

Required: 3-5 years of relevant experience, 2 years of experience in formal leadership position

Desired: 2 years of experience in plastics or fabrication environment

Travel Requirements

5% - 10% travel

  • This role may require regular travel between two company locations situated approximately 10 miles from each other. Employees must be able to work at either location based on business needs.
