Major Duties:

1. Create a master learning plan for the Practice based on input from leaders and front-line partners, with a focus on training and education that will support enterprise, business unit and Practice goals.

2. Evaluate and prioritize existing learning options, and ensure delivery of effective programs and solutions.

3. Create new training focused on practical knowledge and subject matter needs, using various training techniques and contemporary tools and approaches.

4. Work closely with subject matter experts to develop relevant content and deliver content to front line partners.

5. Oversee practice participation in outside certifications, including CFP. 6. Evaluate success of training based on metrics and feedback, and make changes to master plan as needed.

7. Act as a project manager for program implementation and tracking.

8. Create effective feedback loops to ensure that solutions are meeting needs of all interested parties.

9. Work with individual partners as needed to develop learning plans.

10. Interact with outside education providers to determine applicability to NT partners and potential partnership opportunities.

11. Partner with Learning and Development to leverage learning opportunities across the enterprise.

Knowledge:

• Instructional Design Principles
• Current trends and industry knowledge
• Strong consulting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding presentation/facilitation skills

Experience:
  • 15+ years relevant experience in the financial services industry at a national level, wealth management experience preferred
  • Broad functional expertise with success leading through influence and collaboration at all levels
  • Success managing and executing upon a diverse portfolio of initiatives and development programs
  • History of consulting with internal clients to identify needs and translate into solutions
  • BS/BA or equivalent experience require


Salary Range:
$114, 700 - 194, 900 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
