Our Team

Molex Busbar manufactures for our Consumer and Commercial Solutions Division servicing customers globally. We provide complete solutions for power distribution systems with 51 years of manufacturing excellence - copper and aluminum busbars, insulated and laminated busbars, flexible busbars and related products.

Molex a worldwide leader in manufacturing is seeking a full time Saw Operator to support our first shift at our busbar manufacturing facility in Monee, IL. Candidates will be provided with on the job training in one or more of our production areas which offer a clean and climate controlled work space.

Shift: 2: 30pm-1: 00am Monday- Thursday

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• Set up, operate, and maintain saws to cut metal bars, rods, and other materials according to specifications

• Interpret work orders, drawings, and job travelers to determine cutting dimensions and tolerances

• Measure and mark materials for cutting using measuring tools such as tapes, calipers, and squares

• Inspect finished cuts for accuracy and quality; perform rework if needed

• Maintain inventory of raw materials and cut stock; label and organize output properly

• Follow production schedules and prioritize jobs for efficiency

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of saw equipment

• Adhere to all safety procedures, including use of PPE and lockout/tagout when necessary

• Ability to lift and handle raw materials up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):

• 1+ year of experience operating saws or similar industrial cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job instructions, and material specifications

• Proficiency using measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)

For this role, we anticipate paying $18-$20 per hour. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
