Your Job

As a techno-functional expert, build and maintain solutions in and around QAD Adaptive ERP by collaborating with internal teams, external consultants, and QAD to ensure the QAD implementation proj

Provide technical expertise and build solutions that align with the strategic and tactical roadmap of business operations and QAD functionality.

Work with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to develop solutions compliant with IT General Controls and SOX regulations.

Responsible for the technical architecture of QAD, interfaces to peripheral applications and QAD tools.

Work with interface team and peripheral application teams to build and test interfaces to QAD.

Collaborate with QAD to deploy custom components developed for QAD and resolve issues.

Document design specifications of assigned projects.

Review and provide feedback on technical design, test results of developments by external vendors and test delivered custom components.

Work with key users and business analysts to build and test transactions on Automation Solutions.

Develop deep subject matter knowledge about the QAD systems, environment, and use that knowledge to identify and deliver solutions across platform operations, maintenance, upgrades, and optimization.

Identify opportunities to replace home-grown systems with standard COTS solutions; maximize use of standard functionality before exploring customizations.

Provide work effort and cost estimates of QAD projects as requested.

Stay current with QAD's solution offerings, and automotive industry's business requirements.

ect is executed on time with desired quality levels to meet business requirements and efficiencies. Lead post go-live support, plan for upgrades, future enhancements, strategic integrations, and optimize the QAD platform.

QAD Functional Modules experience:
  • QAD Adaptive ERP 2022/2023 in a QAD Cloud environment required.
  • QAD Distribution, QAD Manufacturing, QAD Finance (Enterprise Finance and Standard Finance) including GRS, MRP, Fixed Assets, AP/AR/GL.
  • QAD Technical experience: Progress 4GL, QAD Reporting Framework, non-intrusive and ICT.
  • EDI & Integration experience.
  • Experience in QAD implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects.
  • Experience in Support processes.
  • Capability to understand customer requirements and translate into solutions.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Degree in Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • 2-5 years of demonstrated experience with advanced, complex QAD projects and/or designing business solutions.
  • QAD certifications, a plus.
  • Automation Solutions & Label Printing Services required.
  • Ability to configure AS transactions on hand-held devices a plus.
  • Qxtend experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of APIs and JSON files a plus.
  • Cyberquery development and Pro2SQL knowledge are a plus.
  • Capability to understand customer requirements and translate into solutions.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to support job responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams and self-learner.


{ OPTION 1 - GENERAL SALARY RANGE}

For this role, we anticipate paying $XXXXX - $XXXXX per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
