Manufacturing Operator

Molex a worldwide leader in manufacturing is seeking a full time manufacturing operator to support our busbar manufacturing facility in Monee, IL. Candidates will be provided with on the job training in one or more of our production areas.

First shift hours are Monday through Friday, 6: 00am to 2: 30pm.

What You Will Do In Your Role
* Perform typical general manufacturing operations including but not limited to production support functions (tumbling, cleaning, deburring, tapping, sanding), light assembly, general machine operations, and packing parts.
* Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Cell Lead, Supervisor, Quality or Engineering.
* Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety and quality requirements.

* Physical requirements include ability to operate machinery, lift up to 40 lbs, and stand on your feet for most of the day, however accommodations can be made for certain roles or operations.
* Ability to follow written instructions and take direction from leaders and / or direct supervisor.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
*Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship?

* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to read blueprints and make measurements

For this role, we anticipate paying $18/hr to $20/hr. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
