Position Overview: Linde Gases US is seeking a Distribution Safety Manager to join our team. This role may be based in Burr Ridge, IL or The Woodlands, TX. The Distribution Safety Manager is responsible for leading the LGUS Distribution Safety Program. This role operates with a high degree of independence, providing guidance and leadership within areas of expertise, and reports to the Director, SHEQ - LGUS. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategies to improve distribution safety performance, including identifying leading indicators and leveraging new technologies - Serve as the primary point of contact for distribution safety support - Partner with regional safety and distribution teams to identify, update, and deliver training programs - Lead the development and continuous improvement of distribution safety standards - Analyze safety trends and implement action plans to drive performance improvement - Support the implementation of distribution-related technology enhancements across regions - Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and applicable standards - Conduct distribution safety assessments at LGUS sites and support assessments of distribution contractors - Support accident and incident investigations, including reporting and root cause analysis - Provide technical expertise in DOT and international transportation regulations - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations teams in Canada and Mexico, Global SHEQ, GOE, Procurement, and Helium & Rare Gas Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Associate's degree in transportation, engineering, or a related technical field - 7+ years of experience in distribution safety - 5+ years of experience developing and delivering training - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams - Solid organizational and prioritization skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Intelex or similar systems About Linde: Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
