Description:

Provide expert advice, technical assistance, and coordination to the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) on the supply chain elements of modern aviation maintenance management information systems, with primary emphasis on the GOLDesp MRO & Supply module. Conceptualize, design, develop, document, implement, train, operate, and troubleshoot supply-integrated automation solutions to optimize inventory management, parts availability, requisition processes, and material support for enhanced fleet readiness. Advise senior KAF officers, maintenance managers, and supply/logistics personnel on supply automation strategies, interpret relevant policies from the Kuwait Aviation Maintenance Management Program 4790.2 Series (particularly material management and supply procedures), and serve as the primary interface between aviation maintenance teams, supply/logistics professionals, and IT/data processing experts. The incumbent must have deep expertise in military aviation supply chain/logistics and data processing systems.
TASK REQUIREMENTS
  1. Advise IT/data processing professionals on aviation supply chain and logistics functions, including inventory tracking, parts requisitioning, demand forecasting, HAZMAT management, carcass tracking, and integration with maintenance workflows in GOLDesp.
  2. Provide guidance to senior KAF maintenance and supply personnel on automation opportunities for supply processes, including short- and long-term strategies to improve material support, reduce repair cycle times, and enhance asset visibility.
  3. Lead or contribute to design analyst duties in a self-directed team: establish standards, configure, test, and implement supply-related enhancements, workflows, and reports within GOLDesp MRO & Supply.
  4. Coordinate across maintenance managers, supply/logistics teams, and the work group to align supply and maintenance operations for optimal efficiency.
  5. Monitor supply program performance, data integrity, and integration using GOLDesp tools, dashboards, reporting features (e.g., Pentaho or equivalent), and project management software.
  6. Offer technical expertise on proposals, studies, and options for supply chain automation, including integration with broader MRO processes and compliance with NAMP-equivalent policies.
  7. Perform system administration for maintenance/supply LAN/WAN networks, focusing on supply module configurations, user access, permissions, and data security.
  8. Troubleshoot and repair supply-related computers, executive workstations, and PCs; assist in setup, configuration, and optimization for KAF supply users.
  9. Develop and deliver training curriculum (classroom, on-the-job, and refresher) aligned with KAF 4790.2 Series requirements, covering GOLDesp supply features, inventory procedures, requisition management, report generation, and logistics best practices.
  10. Generate, analyze, and interpret supply reports and metrics to provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing inventory levels, reducing logistical delays, and supporting aircraft mission readiness.
MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in an Aviation Maintenance Program, with substantial emphasis on supply chain, logistics, inventory management, material control, and support functions in military aviation (U.S. Navy/Marine Corps or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years' experience in data processing, IT systems administration, or logistics/ERP software applications (direct experience with GOLDesp MRO & Supply or similar enterprise MRO/supply systems strongly preferred).
  • Proven hands-on knowledge of personal computer applications, hardware configuration/operation, LAN/WAN administration, automated report generation, and data analysis.
  • Experience with LAN training/administration and conducting formal classroom/on-the-job training on supply chain systems, hardware, and software.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Navy NAMP (COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series) material management/supply policies, or equivalent military aviation logistics standards.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural, team-oriented environments and interface with senior military leaders.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and related tools required.
  • No security clearance required.
