Description:

  1. Assist the primary Coordinator in advising data processing and IT professionals on aviation supply chain and logistics functions (e.g., inventory tracking, parts requisitioning, forecasting, HAZMAT handling, and material distribution within GOLDesp).
  2. Advise senior KAF maintenance and supply management personnel on applicable areas of supply automation, including short- and long-term options for enhancing material support and asset visibility.
  3. Support design analyst responsibilities within a self-directed work group, including contributing to establishing standards, testing, and implementing supply-related software enhancements or configurations in GOLDesp.
  4. Coordinate between the work group, maintenance managers, and supply/logistics teams to ensure alignment of maintenance and supply workflows.
  5. Monitor supply program performance and integration using appropriate project management and reporting tools (e.g., GOLDesp dashboards, Pentaho reporting, or similar).
  6. Provide technical advice and guidance on proposals/studies involving supply chain automation, material management, and integration with maintenance processes.
  7. Perform system administration support for maintenance/supply Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN), with emphasis on supply module access, data integrity, and user permissions.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to supply computers, executive workstations, and personal computers configured for GOLDesp supply functions; assist in setup and configuration of PCs for KAF supply personnel.
  9. Assist in preparing and delivering curriculum (classroom and on-the-job training) in accordance with KAF 4790.2 Series, focusing on supply chain modules, inventory management, requisition processes, and GOLDesp supply features.
  10. Support report generation, analysis, and data-driven recommendations for supply optimization to improve aircraft readiness and reduce logistical delays.
MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years' experience in an Aviation Maintenance Program, with significant focus on supply chain, logistics, inventory control, and material support in military aviation environments.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in data processing, IT systems administration, or logistics software applications (experience with enterprise MRO/supply systems like GOLDesp highly preferred).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with personal computer applications, hardware configuration/operation, LAN/WAN administration, and report generation/analysis.
  • Formal training or certification in LAN administration and/or supply/logistics software preferred.
  • Experience conducting formal classroom and on-the-job training on computer hardware, software, and supply chain systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment and interface with senior military personnel.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and related applications required.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Navy NAMP (COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series) or equivalent military aviation maintenance/supply policies strongly desired.
  • No security clearance required.
