Description:

As a Lead Technical Program Manager and Engagement/Communications expert in the Commercial & Investment Bank's Payments Technology team, you will help elevate messaging and engagement/retention across one of the most innovative and exciting areas in financial services . You will bring a creative approach to communications, balanced with an analytical mindset to advise and influence senior executives on this global team. You will operate at the highest strategic levels, while executing at the most tactical levels to deliver excellent and cohesive messaging in support of multiple business leaders. This role focuses on maximizing team engagement and building our Payments Technology brand, both internally and externally, through a variety of vehicles including live events, intranet, video and a wide range of editorial content. It requires a strong ability to prioritize, influence and work effectively across complex, matrixed organizations, as well as a keen ability to devise a strategy to build and incentivize high-performing teams. You'll work closely with technologists at all levels, Corporate Communications, HR, Operations, product leaders and marketing teams, Legal/Compliance, PR, Media, Sales, and other business functions to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs to achieve these objectives, based on an understanding of the target audiences. In all you do, you'll foster collaboration and promote the values, culture and brand of J.P. Morgan Chase.

Job responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive communication materials for Payments Technology, including strategic messaging, town halls, talking points, blogs, announcements, articles, newsletters and content for intranet site.
  • Engage in multiple complex and concurrent projects, maintaining meticulous attention to detail while adeptly managing expectations.
  • Craft executive communications and profiles, necessitating a strong leadership presence and an engaging personality
  • Manage large events both in person, and virtual, from conception to logistical implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Own communications projects/initiatives from beginning to end
  • Help ensure effective communications/engagement globally, as needed, in coordination with Corporate Communications and regional communicators

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in communications, marketing and engagement.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated hands on experience creating compelling, engaging communications through a variety of mediums including but not limited to written/email, PowerPoint, intranet and videos - with ability to quickly learn new tools.
  • Ability to analyze target audience and come up with creative, effective messaging and media to best reach them.
  • Experience working in Technology and Financial Services preferred
  • An eye for clean, natural and artful designs / presentations.
  • Ability to manage long-term projects and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience organizing large events both in person, and virtual - from conception to logistical implementation.

  • Ability to create and maintain relationships, work collaboratively and influence outcomes with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels throughout the firm

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint
