As a Lead Solutions Analyst at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank's Embedded Finance and Solutions team, you will play a central role in driving the success of our technical program delivery. Your deep understanding of applications, platforms, and products will position you as a key bridge between product owners, business, operations, and software developers. Utilizing advanced analytical reasoning and technical fluency, you will translate complex business requirements into well-structured and technically feasible solutions. You will make data-informed decisions and provide strategic insights to support key business initiatives. Your expertise in data analytics and technical fluency will support strategic business initiatives and ensure robust, scalable product development. As a technical subject matter expert, you'll navigate ambiguity, manage change effectively, and communicate compellingly with diverse stakeholder audiences to ensure the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Drive high-quality integrations and accelerate time-to-go-live for clients in payments, cards, and core banking.
- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and data flow requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Product, and Development teams to analyze and define business requirements for payment solutions.
- Contribute to defining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring alignment with product vision and business objectives.
- Analyze and define JSON data contracts and integrations for seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Create detailed data mappings, functional capability matrices, and models to support product development and integration.
- Model the design and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract insights from large, diverse datasets, driving data-informed decision-making.
- Support product and software release cycles, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Mentor and guide team members in technical writing and analytical reasoning, fostering continuous learning and improvement.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide strategic guidance.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the payments domain, with a strong understanding of payment systems and processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and application, including hands-on experience with major data visualization platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of data analytics techniques, with experience in developing and interpreting models, diagrams, and data-driven insights.
- Proficiency in analyzing and defining JSON data contracts and integrations.
- Ability to create detailed data mappings and functional capability matrices.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience in supporting product and software releases, including testing activities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proven ability to lead through change, navigate ambiguous situations, and manage dependencies in complex projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
