Description:

The Executive Director of Banking Service will lead a high-performing client service team, driving operational excellence and ensuring an exceptional advisor and client experience. This leader will align priorities with the broader organizational strategy, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and develop future leaders within the team. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong people management skills, a passion for process improvement, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence
  • Partner with functional groups across the line of business to drive process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the advisor and client experience; implement an ongoing listening strategy to gather feedback and build a robust feedback loop.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and implement long-term, strategic solutions based on advisor and client feedback.
  • Lead day-to-day problem-solving initiatives and ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration.
  • Oversee the day to day operations and identify process improvement opportunities that reduce cycle times, mitigate risk to the firm, and simplify the way we do business

Team Management & Leadership
  • Coach, mentor, and develop client service associates, including people managers, fostering a culture of growth and mobility.
  • Identify and facilitate career development and mobility opportunities for team members.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and annual reviews.
  • Act as the compensation planning manager, making compensation decisions in partnership with HR.
  • Escalate and resolve employee relations issues in collaboration with Legal, Employee Relations, and HR partners.
  • Foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in people management and leadership, including managing people managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to align regional strategic priorities with broader organizational goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and perform well under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Prior experience in banking, financial services, or a related client service environment is required
  • SIE, Series 7 & 24 within 6 months of hire
