Job SummaryAs a Collateral Services Analyst within our team, you play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our lending services. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, using your conflict management and critical thinking skills to resolve issues and deliver high-quality results. We value collaboration, resilience, and time management, and you'll be part of a team dedicated to maintaining the quality of our loan portfolio through meticulous collateral management.
Our team supports a wide range of commercial lending activities, focusing on post-closing document review and collateral management. You'll engage in process improvement initiatives, partner with market and external partners, and contribute to operational excellence. This role provides exposure to complex lending scenarios and opportunities to develop leadership skills.
Job responsibilities- Manage and process loan collateral by adhering to established guidelines and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Track team performance indicators and generate reports for stakeholders
- Review and analyze collateral reports, identifying discrepancies or issues
- Assist with attestations and updates to procedures and supporting documents
- Participate in staff and partner meetings
- Map processes and perform quality reviews using Visio
- Assist and resolve escalations
- Research and respond to internal inquiries for prompt customer resolution
- Understand and adhere to Bank policies, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Meet and exceed established Service Level Agreements, exercising judgment and prioritization
- Participate in projects and working groups as required
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills- 5 years of prior loan operations experience in banking or financial services industry
- Foundational knowledge in commercial lending loan documentation
- Familiarity with mainframe loan systems and commercial lending loan accounting systems
- Emerging proficiency in conflict management
- Developing critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Work with a sense of urgency and seek constant improvement
- Strong internal and external customer service skills
- Team oriented, readily shares information and assists others
