8118 A22 BRAKES - Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Grain & Protein Technologies/GSI Assumption is seeking a talented, passionate, and highly motivated Machine Operator to join our Fab Department. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining fabrication machinery to produce high-quality parts with precision, ensuring all specifications and quality standards are met.
Your Impact

• Follow all required safety procedures and work instructions.
• Set up, adjust, program, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on fabrication machines.
• Produce parts to specification based on job orders while maintaining efficiency.
• Perform quality checks and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Adhere to Lean Manufacturing and Quality Management systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of manual and CNC machine operation preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Strong communication skills.

• Hourly Pay Range: $22.62 - $27.98 + Shift differential for off shift

• Use of required PPE
