Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role plays a vital part in supporting our customers, managing inbound inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring seamless communication between internal departments and our valued clients. You will also assist the outside sales team and contribute to business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely information on product availability, pricing, and technical specifications
  • Prepare accurate sales quotations and convert them into orders through our ERP system
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their business needs and offering thoughtful, solution-oriented support
  • Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to ensure a consistent and coordinated customer experience
  • Identify new opportunities, and act on opportunities for lead generation, upselling, direct selling or cross-selling within existing customer accounts in collaboration with outside sales
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding quotes, backorders, and delivery timelines
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and sales activity records within our CRM system
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally
  • Occasionally assist with customer service-related functions such as returns, order tracking, and documentation
  • Utilize social media, prospecting, and creative marketing tools to attract new business
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or industrial distribution (experience with plastics or piping systems is a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset and a desire to contribute to team success
  • Hunter mentality and desire to earn uncapped commissions
