General Service Associate

Summary

The General Service Associate provides essential labor support across multiple production departments, including press, sanding, detailing, and packaging. This position is responsible for performing a variety of hands-on manufacturing tasks to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.

Essential Functions

• Provide labor support in key production areas, including press, sanding, detailing, and packaging
• Stand for extended periods while performing repetitive manufacturing tasks
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.
• Safely operate hand and power tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, and other equipment
• Load and unload parts from production equipment
• Hang and remove parts from the paint line
• Detail parts after welding and painting to meet company standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time on concrete flooring
• Occasionally lift materials over 25 pounds
• Frequent bending, reaching, handling, and repetitive movement
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Work Environment

• Indoor manufacturing environment
• Fast-paced production setting
• Temperatures within the facility may vary seasonally and can become elevated during warmer months due to production operations
