Job Description and Responsibilities

EVRAZ North America is seeking a Marketing and Communications Analyst to join our team in Chicago. This role leads the development and execution of engaging, on-brand digital content that supports EVRAZ’s strategic priorities including sustainability, public policy, and internal storytelling. This role directly contributes to how EVRAZ shows up online with content that informs, inspires, and strengthens relationships with employees, customers, and stakeholders. It’s a fast-paced position ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex topics into creative, digital-first communications that resonate with both internal and external audiences.

  • Develop and lead digital content strategies that support company-wide campaigns, employee engagement, and executive visibility
  • Create and manage a monthly internal newsletter that translates complex topics like policy updates, sustainability initiatives, and operational highlights into accessible, engaging content
  • Transform technical materials into audience-friendly formats for internal and external channels
  • Produce original written and visual content for use across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand tone and strategic priorities
  • Monitor social media, media coverage, and competitor activity to identify trends and proactively plan content that reinforces the company’s voice
  • Track public policy and industry developments relevant to energy, manufacturing, and sustainability to inform communications planning and content development
  • Analyze content performance and engagement metrics to inform strategy, optimize posts, and report on campaign impact
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual standards by managing editorial calendars, version control, and digital asset organization
  • Support reputation and issues management efforts by assisting with timely content development as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Policy, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in strategic communications, social media, government relations, or public affairs
  • Experience with multi-platform content creation, visual storytelling, content analytics.
  • Organized, proactive, and detail oriented
  • Strong storytelling, copywriting, and visual content creation skills
  • Familiarity with energy, manufacturing, or public policy landscapes is a plus
  • Comfortable working across departments and managing multiple deadlines
  • Experience with social media analytics, KPIs, content optimization, and crisis management
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Sprout Social or other enterprise social media management tools
