• Supervise the development and alignment of our production and financial plans for our six North America manufacturing/operation centers
  • Develop financial analyses to isolate price, inflation and mix impacts on each operation to better assess underlying operating performance
• Coordinate capital planning for our manufacturing and procurement operations
  • Prepare financial analyses including NPV and IRR evaluations to help management prioritize investments across our global business
• Own the operational planning process by working with plant and operations management in the development of cost improvement initiatives over the 1-4 year planning horizon
  • Work with engineering management to integrate engineering cost improvement programs into operations financial plans
• Support period financial close through variance analyses, standard cost reviews and analysis, account reconciliations and transactional reviews
  • Provide Appleton management with financial commentary regarding operational performance vs forecasts and prior years
• Provide financial and analytical support to Appleton leadership and Emerson staff as and when required

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study.
• Relevant years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment commensurate with the level of this position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Travel up to 20% to US Sites and Mexico
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future

• +10 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Oracle ERP
• CMA Certification

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. The total target comp range for this position is $100, 000 - $150, 000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
