Assembly and Packaging Specialist

This role focuses on preparing components for deployment, packaging systems securely, andmaintaininghigh standardsof quality and safety. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently to meet production schedules. KeyResponsibilities Assembly & Preparation Assemble scoreboard components with precision, ensuring seamless fit and finish. Prepare kits and packages for shipment, verifying completeness and accuracy. Inspect products for quality and functionality before packaging. Packaging & Logistics Package AV and LED systems securely to prevent damage during transit. Label shipments accurately and coordinate with logisticsfortimelydelivery. Maintain clean and efficient workstations daily. Process Improvement & Documentation Document assembly and packaging steps for consistency and compliance. Suggest improvements to packaging methods for efficiency and protection. Support rapid turnaround of customer orders. Equipment & Safety Operate power tools safely and effectively. Proficiencywith shop tools such as cutoff saws, drill press, andcleaningequipment. Achieve certification for forklifts and other heavy equipment as required. Results Required Achieve 100% damage-free delivery rate. Complete 95% of packaging tasks on schedule. Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards. Qualifications 12 years of experience in assembly, packaging, or warehouse operations. Ability to use power tools and follow detailed assembly instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift and handle AV equipment safely. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Familiarity with AV or LED products is a plus. Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.Ability to lift and move materials up to 60 pounds.Ability to use hands and fingers for assembly tasks and operate job-specific tools and equipment.Tolerance for warehouse conditions including noise, temperature changes, and dust. Mental Demands: Strong attention to detail, quality control, and task organization.Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities.Capacity to manage multiple tasks and production deadlines efficiently.Sound judgment and basic problem-solving skills related to assembly and packaging processes. Emotional Demands Ability to remain focused, professional, and productive in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to accept feedback and work collaboratively as part of a team.Resilience and flexibility when handling repetitive tasks or shifting workloads. Work Environment This position operates primarily in a warehouse and production environment. The role involves working with assembly tools, packaging materials, and AV or LED equipment. The workspace may include exposure to noise, dust, temperature variations, and moving equipment. Standard warehouse equipment such as power tools, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts may be used. Extended hours may be required at times to meet production or shipping demands.
