JOB DESCRIPTION

The VP, AI Integration Lead will drive the modernization and automation of Chubb's claims operations, with a focus on embedding AI throughout the business. Reporting to the Head of North America Claims Transformation, this leader will serve as a critical liaison between business teams and AI/engineering, ensuring technology solutions are fit for purpose and requirements are properly coordinated across all stakeholders. The role will lead top strategic business initiatives and AI-driven integrations across the claims portfolio, contributing to operational efficiency, business value, and improved customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end design, execution, and optimization of complex technology solutions, partnering with AI and business teams
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for AI solutions, ensuring alignment with claims operations and strategic objectives
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (claims, IT, data science, engineering) to deliver automation projects on time and within scope
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies for AI-driven initiatives
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and executive status reports
  • Drive change management and adoption of new automated processes, including training and communications for claims staff
  • Analyze process performance, identify opportunities for further automation, and implement continuous improvements
  • Stay current on industry trends in AI, automation, and claims management, and identify opportunities for innovation
  • Lead and execute special projects as assigned, spanning process improvements and new AI-driven initiatives


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in process engineering, operations, or project management, with a focus on automation or AI integration, preferably in insurance or financial services
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects in an agile environment
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application to business process automation
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and vice versa
  • Experience with claims operations is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (Six Sigma, PMP, Agile) a plus
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; data-driven decision maker
  • Initiative-taking, adaptable, and able to navigate ambiguity
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and able to drive consensus across diverse teams
The pay range for the role is $180, 000 to $275, 000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
