Job Description

What You'll Be Doing:

• In this role you will perform functions including:
• Operate various electronic devices to assist locating and verifying underground utilities including gas, phone, and fiber optic cables.
• Perform various reports and documentation verifying marked utilities.
• Prepare GPS data on located utilities and related above ground features.
• Identifying and marking utility lines using spray paint or colored flags.
• Attending safety meetings.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Driver's License.
• Preferred experience with locating utilities (3-5 years).
• Ability to distinguish colors for marked utilities.
• Must be willing to travel up to X%.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 30+ pounds.

• Customer Service Focused and comfortable with customer interaction.
• Enthusiasm for being part of a safety-focused collaborative team.
• Technology adept.
• Personal Protective Equipment provided.

Candidates must undergo a physical examination and complete pre-employment screenings such as driver's abstract review and drug and alcohol test. This position is in a region that is covered under a collective bargaining agreement; the successful applicant may be required to join the union as a condition of employment.
