The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI's overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.

This role is responsible for managing the US International tax compliance function for multi-corporate and private, U.S. and foreign entities from research through accounting and return preparation, including control of internal and external tax advice and service.

Job Responsibilities

• Job manages a team, has authority to hire and performance-manage the team.

• Ensure accurate, timely filing of US international income tax returns and other business-related filings of OSI Group, LLC, and affiliates.

• Provide international tax advice and service to OSI Group, LLC, its principals, affiliates, and joint-venture entities.

• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.

• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary US international taxes. Research tax questions to optimize tax information and minimize liability in conformance with laws.

• Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US international income tax return and other tax documents.

• Manage compliance with BEPS/Transfer Pricing requirements.

• Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the US international tax process.

• Manage and facilitate income tax audits related to international tax: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.

• Monitor legislative and regulatory international tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments, and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.

• Provide support with various internal/external audits and special tax related projects.

• Review US international tax returns and international quarterly/annual tax projections.

• Manage and mentor members of tax team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement.

• This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills

• 10 years of experience in related field is preferred.

• Experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.

• At least 2 years of experience in a management role.

• Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.

• Extensive individual/corporate/partnership tax knowledge.

• Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations and partnerships.

• Familiarity with U.S. federal and US international tax reporting requirements.

• Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.

• Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other tax team members.

• Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Strong skills and experience with Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with SAP, CorpTax, and research tools.

Education

• MA/MS/MBA or equivalent is preferred.

• MA in an accounting discipline.

• CPA license preferred.

Work Environment

• Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.

• Work conditions are typical of an office environment.

• This role does not require any domestic travel

• Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds

• Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
