Karcher Post Acute is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Staff Development Coordinator with Infection Prevention experience . Position Summary
The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing staff education and training programs while overseeing infection prevention practices within the facility. This role plays a key part in supporting staff competency, regulatory compliance, and the overall quality of care for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct staff orientation and ongoing education programs
• Provide training and competency validation for nursing staff
• Oversee and support the facility's infection prevention and control program
• Monitor infection control practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with leadership to promote quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate education and infection control documentation
• Support staff development and promote a positive learning environment

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Infection Prevention experience required
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Passion for staff development and quality patient care
