You’ll be a great fit if you have the ability to:
- Manage the work assignments of all mechanical, electrical, and automation employees to ensure maintenance excellence is achieved and maintained.
- Oversee the warehouse and inventory of parts and materials.
- Coordinate with production departments to support mill performance goals.
- Participate in planning and implementation of all capital projects in the mill
- Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment and coordinate outside contractors with a focus on safe and continuous operation of all equipment.
- Monitor teams performance, to identify and address maintenance insufficiencies.

To be considered you will need the following:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a manager
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety procedures
- Proven leadership and team building skills
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Demonstrated technical or maintenance and supervisory skills
- Proficient computer skills including use of maintenance management systems, project planning, systems, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment and tools
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing and maintenance business processes, including:
- Work order management and work flow process
- Mechanical systems
- Power distribution
- Control systems and hydraulics
- Robotics/Automation
- Precision maintenance techniques
- Adapt to various weather conditions, loud conditions, and airborne particles (sawdust) as we are working in a loud, industrial, sawmill!
- Pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check
What will put you over the top:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, maintenance, mechanical engineer, electrical engineering or related field.
- Valid driver’s license
The Physical Demands of this job include:
Sitting and/or standing for a full shift, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, squatting, bending at the waist, kneeling, walking varying distance, climbing stairs, and listening to equipment.
