Job Description
CXT Incorporated is hiring a Industrial Painter II (CXT, Inc.) in Boise, ID. This is a full-time position.
As an Industrial Painter II, you will operate a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or precast products and are trained to mix paints and other required solutions.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Safe Start daily meetings.
- Follow all safe work practices and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S standards.
- Carryout verbal and written instructions and complete jobs in a timely fashion.
- Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions.
- Ability to independently set-up, operate and perform maintenance of latex air sprayers and other paint related equipment.
- Trained to mix paint colors per specification and apply graffiti protection coating.
- Work with quality and production teams to identify areas for process improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, etc.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3 years’ experience painting in a manufacturing environment
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards and following all safe work practices.
- A focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem solving and teamwork.
- Ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently and 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to wear a full faced respirator and work inside a paint booth.
- Good visual acuity.
