Boise Cascade Homedale Beams is hiring a Production Scheduler!

Annual Salary: $62, 800 - $84, 000 (DOE)

Responsibilities:

The Production Scheduler is responsible for coordination and scheduling of production processes, management of production/delivery schedules, identifying product specification for order files, and analysis of production specifications and plant capacity data. Includes management of master production schedule to satisfy sequence and lead times to meet shipping dates; planning and scheduling workflow for each department; ordering and scheduling incoming materials; schedule changes. Interacts with sales to guide sales mix decisions in order to match production schedule requirements and limitations. Managing Maximo work orders (WO's) and preventative maintenance (PM) worksheets including ensuring they are printed, assigned, and completed within the appropriate timeframe. Coordinate Boise Improvement Cycle (BIC) meetings weekly and sending follow-up as necessary. Analyze business processes and performance data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and drive business performance. You'll leverage data analysis, lean methodologies and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities, implement solutions and monitor outcomes.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in relevant areas such as planning, scheduling, data integration, or innovation-driven roles. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to create and manage spreadsheets, analyze data, and generate reports. Demonstrated ability to apply mathematical formulas to practical situation. Must be able to develop good working relationships with internal customers, mill and sales staff, external vendors, and customers. Strong computer skills are essential.
