Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Millwork Design Specialist. Please review the responsibilities and needed qualifications below and apply today!

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, integrate, and implement (internal and 3rd-party) software for one or more door millwork (production or scheduling) software programs and/or equipment utilized by millwork locations, including Agility, Paradigm, and RFN.
  • Design and implement door-specific Millwork Configuration Software utilized by both internal and external sales associates.
  • Design and support the Bill of Materials/Q& A/Café logic that drives door configuration by end users. Style, slab, frame, trim, options, etc.
  • Collaborate with users to support business applications and define system solutions that align with business strategies and interface with existing (internal and external) processes and systems.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and provide end-user software training for door millwork systems and processes.
  • Requires specific knowledge of division procedures, products, policies, and programs related to door millwork.
  • Duties may include testing new versions of division software packages, assisting with software problem research and resolution, and providing input for proposed software modifications within the area of expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding door millwork process flow and configuration requirements.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external customer needs related to door millwork systems and processes.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Business travel is required.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: College degree, or equivalent work experience in related job function.

Preferred Qualifications: Typically five (5) or more years’ experience. Role may require technical certification.
