The Director of Multi-Family (MF) Division and Industrial is responsible for providing strategic support, guidance and oversight to Boise Cascade Building Materials Distribution (BMD) branches on all multi-family, Shed, Industrial, and manufactured housing matters. In addition to leading a team, this role will have customer responsibility.

This position requires strong leadership, industry expertise, communication and relationship management skills to drive success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to BMD branches and division staff on all MF, manufactured housing, shed manufacturing and industrial activities.
  • Prepare and execute sales & marketing strategy with the MF, manufactured housing, shed and industrial customer segments consistent with division financial and strategic objectives.
  • Oversee and provide direction & development to the MF, manufacturing housing, shed and industrial sales team.
  • Develop, recommend and drive strategy for profitable growth in MF, manufactured housing, shed and industrial segments.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and efficiency within customer segment.
  • Help identify opportunities to share and communicate best practices.
  • Drive collaboration with Boise Wood Products to leverage our integrated model.
  • Develop a strategy and ensure BMD is proactively connected with suppliers for these customer segments.
  • Create and improve processes for quotes, coordination, and job management.
  • Work closely BMD’s national account team to drive profitable growth with the MF groups within the national account customer base.
  • Serve as a point person for a key MF account.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, qualify, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: College Degree, or equivalent work experience in related job function.

Preferred Qualifications: Typically, more than 10 years of experience in related job function; May require professional certification and/or advance degree.
